After all the running and working and thinking and trying…
you need rest—
but more than rest,
more than you know—
you need Him.
Time with Him is never wasted.
He waits for you to find Him and draw near.
Sometimes you don’t and He wonders why,
but that doesn’t stop His love for you.
He waits for His turn as you follow here and there…
always running and working and thinking and trying.
Wondering about so many things.
Running to beat the clock
Working from dawn to setting sun
Thinking too fast and way too hard
Always trying to get things done.
But what you need is Him.
Just Him.
Only Him.
Just wait on Him.
Rest in Him.
